The Battle

HTC has been one of the most popular producers of phones that are powered by Google’s Android Operating System. The phones have been well received in many countries and the company has built a very powerful customer base, especially with its highly useful and efficient HTC Sense UI. The release of the HTC One X saw HTC release one of the most powerful phones in the market, combating the likes of the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S3. It is primarily aimed at competing against the latter device. So, how does the HTC One X fare against one of the most powerful phones of the third generation, the Galaxy Nexus?  Here’s our brief comparison of the two devices:

HTC One X

The HTC One X was released in May 2012, alongside the Samsung Galaxy S3, making it a more advanced device as compared to the Galaxy Nexus. However, the phone features touch sensitive controls in the front and has a Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touch screen that runs at 720p. The pixel density is very high, standing at 312 ppi, making it one of the best screens that you can find in the market. It is covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass. However, the phone is quite bulky as compared to other devices and looks pretty fat in hand. It features 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage inside. The phone has a 8 MP camera with full HD video recording as well. However, the biggest change in the device is in terms of processing, as it runs on a powerful nVidia Tegra 3 Quad Core processing chip, making it by far one of the fastest smart phones available in the market .if you are looking for raw power, this is your device.

Galaxy Nexus

The Galaxy Nexus, on the other hand, was released as the flagship device for the introduction of Android Ice Cream Sandwich in the market. It features a 4.65 inch screen, dual core TI OMAP processing chip, a dedicated 400 MHz graphics processor and 16 or 32 GB of storage. The curved profile of the device makes it highly stylish and beautiful looking. It has a 5 MP camera which also offers full HD video recording and HD photographs. Both the devices can be updated to Android Jelly Bean, which was recently released by Google. However, performance wise, the HTC One X is way more powerful.
