Apple iPhone 5
The Apple iPhone 5 has much more things to offer than the previous models of the iPhone. This new design of the phone is one of the thinnest, lightest and the fastest of all the iPhones.
It has been launched in combination of black & slate color and a white & silver combination. The capacity ranges from 16 B, 32 GB and 64 GB with the price of $199, $299 and $399 respectively which is kind of similar to the iPhone 4S when it was launched. The height of the phone is 4.87 inches (123.8 mm), width is 2.31 inches (58.6 mm), depth is 0.30 inch (7.6 mm) and the weight is 3.95 ounces (112 grams) that is 18 % thinner, 20% lighter and 12% less in volume.
The size of the multi-touch display screen has been changed to 4-inch (diagonal) with a resolution of 1136 * 640 pixels at a 326 dpi. It has 8 megapixel iSight camera with HD video recording in 1080p up to 30 frames per second and face detection and tap to focus for video and still images. The camera features are similar to the iPhone 4S except the new Panorama feature which lets you capture the shot with up to an impressive 240 degrees.
The FaceTime feature using the front-camera of the new iPhone 5 can also happen using over a cellular connection if wi-fi is not available which wasn’t the case with iPhone 4S. With the launch of iPhone has announced the new feature called the lightning connector and also a new type of headphones. The lightning connector is all-digital, eight-signal design which is more durable than the old 30-pin connector and is reversible which means you don’t have to worry about plugging it in the right was in the cable.
As far as the battery and power of the new iPhone 5 are concerned the talk-time is up to 8 hours on 3G and standby time is up to 225 hours. The audio and video playback times are up to 40 hours and 10 hours respectively.

Maps – the maps are vector based and you can zoom in for a smooth panning, check the street names, get turn-by-turn navigation and follow along, get traffic info to get details about incidents.
Camera – 8MP iSight camera with HDR capability, new panorama feature to take pictures in 240 degrees, editing and sharing your pictures to Facebook, Twitter, email them or to selected people with shared Photo Streams. You can also shoot HD videos, trim to edit and take photos while recording a video and share them.
Siri which is your personal assistant and you can ask question or tell it to do some work like texting or browsing the internet for you.
Passbook is place to keep all your tickets, boarding passes, gift card in one place. It is a time and location based features which displays the things saved in it on the lock screen as you need them based on the place and time you are in.
There are other basic features like Phone, Mail, Safari browser, Messages, Reminders, Voice Memos, Calculator, Calendar, Music, Contacts, Videos, photos, App Store, iTunes, Game Center, Newsstand, Find my iPhone, Stocks, Notes and Weather.
