Uber Technologies Inc. announced on Wednesday, Jan 20, 2016 that its expanding is food delivering app, UberEats to 10 cities in USA : Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington DC, San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles and cities like Toronto, Canada and Paris, France. With this app you can get food from a local restaurant delivered to you at your selected location (along the curbside), by the Uber drivers. With this UberEats will be a competitor to Eat24 or GrubHub, but with already established infrastructure of Uber drivers it wouldn’t seem a problem to them.

There will be a small fee that you will need to pay for the food to be delivered. UberEats food delivery fee will run about $5 in most cities, though they could vary. You can reduce the delivery fee, (referred to as FareSplit by Uber) by adding friends who are ready to order their own meals.

UberEats delivers lunch in most of the cities between 11 AM to 2 PM , while dinner will be delivered in selected cities like Los Angeles and Chicago. When the app will be fully out and more cities join, Uber will expand the hours to 10AM-10PM.

How many of you are thinking of using this service and ordering food through UberEats? Have you ordered food through any other apps?
