Travel mum, Karen Edwards, a nurse by profession has loved travelling since ever! She started travelling alone after finishing her education and with her partner Shawn after they got married! In seven years she has traveled fifty countries. But what happened when they found out that they were going to have a baby! Is it an end to their travel adventure! No, not at all! These new parents decided to travel the whole world with their new born baby girl, Esmé to inspire other parents and let them know that having a baby is not an end to your fun loving life and adventures. She was on her maternity leave, while her husband, Shawn left his job, sold their car and rented out their London home.
According to mum’s Instagram account: “Only age one she has already been to Ireland, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Taiwan and Hong Kong… Our next trip for February is in the making …”
Karen shares all her travel adventures, tips and advises on her blog and has a very impressive and active Instagram account!

Mum says “I’ve heard so many people say I can’t do this or I can’t do that with a baby … Ok .. Traveling may be slightly more restrictive with a little baby but it still very possible to have a great time. The only difference for us was we had to take things a little more slowly than normal and you may have to take turns with activities such as diving. This little angel has clocked up ten countries in her one year of life … She seemed to love all the different sites and sounds on a daily basis..”
